Learning new Languages

In response to the video on TED.com I would agree with what the speaker said.  Learning languages and their stories is important.  At the same time though when traveling to another country for any reason you should have a basic knowledge of their language.  Many people say if your coming to live in America you should learn English and that is the smart thing to do.  People believe that its wrong of us to think that way but when Americans travel to other countries for an extended amount of time we learn the basics of the language so we can communicate with the people living there.  Forcing people to have high quality English to study here at our schools is wrong, but giving them the ability to speak English enough to voice their knowledge is mutually beneficial.

The attack on Casino Royale

Recently in the city of Monterrey a casino was burned down killing 52 people inside.  Police believe that the motive for arson was that the casino wasn't cooperating with the gang.  Two witnesses on the inside have a different view.  The women were celebrating a birthday at the casino when men barged in armed with guns and grenades aiming at the people.  The men were saying "we will kill all of you".  The two witnesses also believe that a different group set the building on fire.  Luckily the two women escaped the casino before it was caught on fire.
